Course DescriptionThe Transcendental Meditation technique is taught by certified teachers in the same way everywhere in the world through a systematic program of instruction created by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The purpose of this semester-long course is to provide you with the experience and knowledge you need to correctly practice the Transcendental Meditation technique. This thorough instruction ensures that you learn to meditate properly, and thereby gain the maximum benefit of your daily TM practice. The Transcendental Meditation Course, Phase 1 – Seven StepsThe Transcendental Meditation course begins with seven simple steps of instruction involving approximately 90 minutes per class. These seven-steps begin with two free introductory lectures describing the benefits and how the technique works. These initial classes are followed by a short interview with a teacher. Those who choose to enroll then begin a course of four consecutive days of personal instruction involving approximately 90 minutes per day. Students often immediately begin experiencing the benefits of TM practice during these first days of instruction.
